}} Ronald "Ron" Harper (born January 20, 1964) is a retired American professional basketball player whose career spanned from 1986 to 2001 with four teams in the National Basketball Association (NBA). ==Early life== Ron Harper was born and grew up in Dayton, Ohio. Ron and his twin brother were the youngest of six children raised in a single-parent household by their mother, Gloretha Harper.
